Dear Lawrence,
I hope you can join me on Thursday, April 23, when I'll be in Las Vegas to meet with area alumni. This informal event is a great way to learn about new developments at U-M and the Alumni Association. You also can share your thoughts and ask questions and connect with some of the 1,000-plus U-M alumni that live in the Las Vegas area.
We'll gather at University of Nevada - Las Vegas, Richard Tam Alumni Center, WilliamTrent Lounge, which is located at the intersection of Maryland Parkway and Harmon, Las Vegas.
Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and soft drinks will be provided, and the event is free. Contact Brenda Herman at bherman@umich.edu or 800.847.4764 if you have any additional questions.
As president of the Alumni Association, I think it's important to create opportunities to share important campus information with alumni and that you feel that you can share your concerns about U-M with me. ACHA Division II men's club hockey team from the University of Michigan will be playing a weekend series vs. UNLV 'Rebels" . Both teams are DII members of the ACHA.
